Tricia and I ran a blog together some six years ago, and we hope to make our back to internet stardom with our new website, Cher Amis, which is a creative hub and an exploration of artistic inspiration. Bateau is a pretty little letterpressed lit mag, and the new issue of Bateau (Volume 5, Issue 1) included some of my very short stories (or prose poems, or flash fiction, or whatever you'd like to call them) about what happens after the fairy tale ends (you know, like PTSD). The issue contains three stories from my Aftermath series: Snow White, Sleeping Beauty, and Little Red Riding Hood.
My story "Queens" appears in the May/June 2012 issue of Cicada Magazine, an awesome literary magazine for teen and young adult readers. You can check out the first few paragraphs of the story on Cicada's website.
